The San Antonio Zoo got a new batch o f butterflies in from Central America. The blue-winged butterflies were a common sight to see in the highlands of Guatemala while I lived there. Went to the San Antonio Zoo today and went to the butterfly exhibit. They had a special greenhouse setup to keep the temperature and humidity at a tolerable level at which you could see all the butterflies up close. I was wearing a bright yellow t-shirt and many of the butterflies seemed to be attracted to it because they would land and stay on my shirt.
